Tisdel sworn in for 3rd term

State Rep. Mark Tisdel, R-Rochester Hills, was sworn in for his third term in the Michigan House of Representatives on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at the Capitol in Lansing, as his wife Susan (in pink) looked on. Michigan Supreme Court Justice Kyra H. Bolden administered the oath of office; also pictured are friends Roger and Jane Knapp. Republicans have a 58 to 52 seat majority in the Michigan House of Representatives this term after flipping control of the chamber in the Nov. 5 election.
