State Rep. Mark Tisdel today congratulated The Montessori School Rochester for receiving a school safety grant from the state of Michigan.
“Keeping students safe is a critical task for Michigan schools,” said Tisdel, R-Rochester Hills. “This grant will support The Montessori School Rochester as it educates and protects students in our community.”
The Rochester Hills school was awarded $47,270 through the Competitive School Safety Grant Program (CSSGP). Grant funding can be used to pay for equipment or technology to increase safety at the school.
