Contact: Bob Bezotte

The Michigan Department of Transportation is conducting a survey to seek input from residents on funding system for roads, bridges and other transportation infrastructure. Your input is vital in this process, as MDOT explores the possibility of a new road usage charge, which means people would pay a set amount for each mile they drive.

By participating in the survey, you can ensure that the diverse views and needs of Livingston County residents are considered alongside those from all corners of Michigan. Each respondent will receive a $10 gift card for their participation.

Visit Michigan.gov/MIRoadCharge to complete the survey until March 1.

The Democrats’ 2023-24 state budget allocated $5 million for the survey, including $2.6 million the state was awarded from a federal grant.

Jim was instrumental in founding the tennis program at Fowlerville High School, coaching the school’s first team and leading the effort to fund and build courts.

Congratulations, Jim, and thank you for your hard work and dedication to shaping the lives of many young athletes!
