RELEASE|April 28, 2022
Rep. Whiteford talks about House passage Thursday of a bipartisan, three-bill package, including two bills she authored, that establish a framework for the distribution of $800 million Michigan is receiving through the opioid settlement. Half of the total will go directly to local governments. Rep. Whiteford says her bills make sure the remaining $400 million are earmarked for opioid prevention and awareness.
